
The First Lady, Aisha Buhari has invited all Presidential aspirants from varied political parties to the State House for a Ramadan Iftar dinner.
In response to the invitation letter, the dinner shall be held at the State House Convention Centre at 06:30 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
The aspirants had been instructed not to come along with their cellular gadgets, besides for their invitation cards which might function their entry pass.
The spokesperson of the First Lady, Aliyu Abdullahi, who confirmed the dinner to Punch ,stated the directive won’t apply to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and and ministers who’re anticipated to be on the dinner.
“There’s nothing here. It is a normal operational protocol within the Villa if you find yourself having a gathering with both of the three occupants of the Presidency,” Abdullahi stated.
“If they are coming for an occasion, that is presupposed to be DSS enforced when the president is having an occasion or the Vice President is having an occasion or the first lady is having an occasion. As a result of outsiders will come. That’s the safety and normal protocol. That doesn’t apply to the Vice President. How are you going to count on that to use to the Vice President and even to ministers?”
