
The Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekweazu has averred that some states aren’t conducting sufficient COVID-19 exams.
Ihekweazu stated this on the presidential process pressure briefing on COVID-19 on Thursday December 10. A few of the states he mentioned aren’t conducting sufficient checks including Cross River, Jigawa, Kogi, Osun, Ebonyi, Adamawa and Zamfara.
He stated;
“It is important to test, to manage the outbreak and plan for vaccination.
“The numbers are not looking good and we need to take this very seriously as we plan for the end of the year.”
