Gunmen kidnap son of Deputy Senate President?s aide

Gunmen have kidnapped a final yr scholar of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Chris Oghojafor.

The Industrial Chemistry scholar is the son of Barr. John Oghojafor, a senior legislative aide to the Deputy President of the Senate.

The victim was kidnapped on Friday evening, April 22, within the university neighborhood of Abraka, Ethiope-East Local Authorities Area of Delta state.

It was gathered that the abductors contacted the mom of the victim to demand a 50 million naira ransom for his release.

The daddy of the victim, confirmed the report on the Delta State University, campus 3 in Abraka.

The authorized practitioner cum journalist stated the household had haggled the N50 million ransom demanded to N3 million.

“They kidnapped my son on Friday evening. They called my spouse to demand N50 million. Later, they negotiated to a few (N3millon) naira,” he noted.

Mr Oghojafor appealed to the abductors to release his son unharmed, saying he was only a scholar who’s planning his life and future to be a greater individual within the society.
