
Kidnappers have killed an activist, Sani Khalil Rigasa after receiving N1.5 million ransom from his family.
Sani Khalil Rigasa was a popular campaigner #SecuretheNorth and a member of North Media Writers.

Sani was kidnapped during the attack alongside Rigasa Train Station in Igabi local government area of Kaduna state on November 21, during which activist, Rabiu Awwal was killed.
One other younger man recognized as Umar Elkhadab was injured in the assault while the abductors kidnapped Sani.
The men were said to be coming back from Rigachukwu where they met with the Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly to debate the insecurity in Kaduna.

Similar to Rabiu, Sani was also an activist who had called on President Buhari to secure the northern part of the Country.
The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the latest development in an announcement on Saturday, December 5.
“Khalil was kidnapped in November 2020 on the Rigasa – Link Road in Igabi Local Government Area. The government has sent condolences to the family,” he stated.
In the meantime, associates and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn him. One Danmalikin Rigachikun described the deceased as a “popular figure in the campaign for securing the north”
