

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu introduced a cheque of N10 million every to households of the six law enforcement officials killed in Lagos State within the violence that adopted the Finish SARS protests.
Sanwo-Olu introduced the cheques on Thursday, Dec 3, in fulfilment of his administration’s pledge made throughout an earlier assembly with law enforcement officials.
The cheques have been introduced to the wives and kids of the slain officers on the 14th City Corridor assembly on safety, held at Civic Centre by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), with the theme: “Lagos security: Resilience in the face of adversity.”

The late law enforcement officials are Yaro Edward, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP); Inspector Ayodeji Erinfolami; Inspector Aderibigbe Adegbenro; Inspector Samson Ehibor; Sergeant Bejide Abiodun and Inspector Igoche Cornelius.
Sanwo-Olu additionally introduced scholarship awards to kids of the deceased officers as much as college degree.
