Leke Adeboye, the Senior Private Assistant of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has apologised to pastors within the church for referring to them as ‘goats’.

The Nation had reported Leke rebuked some RCCG pastors who preached after his father’s sermon final Sunday in parishes throughout the nation.

The cleric’s son apologised on Thursday on his Instagram page over the assertion, which generated loads of backlashes from followers and church members.

The assertion titled:-

‘My honest apology’ reads: “I want to use this medium to tender my unreserved apologies on the assertion created from my social media deal with about a few of our esteemed Pastors.

“The disciplinary measures taken by the mission is properly obtained and this era shall be used to replicate and introspect.

“I want to crave your indulgence to please forgive my excessive assertion which I want to emphasise was completely not meant to insult or malign.

“I additionally want to apologise profusely to the whole management and Pastors of our beloved Church who might have been harm by this assertion.
