
The ‘Ajoche’ star took to her Twitter handle with an inventory of main challenges based mostly on her latest documentary filming experience.
“Shooting documentaries in Nigeria is tough for numerous causes: Nigerians aren’t very trustworthy. Nigerians aren’t very open. Nigerians don’t keep footages. Everyone demands cash to share their story and Everyone seems to be more interested in ‘their truth’,” the filmmaker tweeted.
Last yr, Lota Chukwu produced a FIFA unique documentary on Nigeria’s Super Eagles debut into the World Cup. The documentary directed by Nora Awolowo featured interviews with Finidi George, Biola Kazeem, Akanni Raymon amongst others and not too long ago launched on FIFA’s web site.
Chukwu’s tackle documentaries come amid stories that Highlife singer Flavour signed an Amazon Prime Video production deal to film his documentary.
