A 29-year-old man, Aliu Oladeji has been remanded in a custodial centre by Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court docket in Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly beating a thief to demise.

Plea of the defendant who resides in Ayedaade area, was not taken by Justice of the Peace, I. O. Osho who ordered that he be remanded within the Abolongo Custodial Centre, Oyo city, pending authorized advice.

Oladeji was arraigned in court docket on costs of conspiracy and homicide, with the prosecution counsel, Inspector Foluke Adedosu telling the court docket that he conspired with others in the space to commit the offence.

It was disclosed that on March 4, round 2.30am, one Sodiq was crushed to demise by he and others. The offence is opposite to Part 316 and punishable underneath sections 319 and 324 of the Legal Code Legal guidelines of Oyo State 2000.

Justice of the Peace Osho who ordered that he be remanded in a custodial centre on Wednesday April 13, adjourned the matter till July 4, for mention.
