NSCDC arrests man for allegedly shopping for items with faux bank alert

Aidamenbor stated the suspect was tracked and arrested in Osogbo, Osun, on April 14, by the Counter Terrorism Unit of the command.

“The Ondo Command in its dogged dedication to rid the state of all types of criminality has arrested a 24-year-old Olawale Mayowa for producing a faux alert of the sum of N310,000.

“Mayowa made the faux alert in two tranches of N300,000 and N10,000 for a laptop computer he ordered from an Akure based laptop dealer,” he stated.

He stated the suspect would be charged to courtroom for acquiring items beneath false pretences after the conclusion of investigation.

Aidamenbor suggested most people to take heed to who they transact business with and will at all times confirm all financial transactions.
