Paul Scholes reveals Jesse Lingard has told him the Man Utd dressing room is ‘a disaster’


Jesse Lingard has instructed Paul Scholes that the present Manchester United dressing room is ‘a catastrophe’.

United slumped to a different defeat on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 loss at Arsenal all however ending their hopes of qualifying for subsequent season’s Champions League.

Erik ten Hag was formally unveiled as the club’s new supervisor this week with the Dutchman set to reach from Ajax at the end of the season.

With numerous players out of contract and main issues on the club on and off the pitch, the 52-year-old could have an enormous job on his palms.

And United legend Scholes, talking after the defeat to the Gunners, revealed he has lately spoken to Lingard who supplied a bleak perception into simply how bad the present scenario is.

‘I had a quick chat With Jesse [Lingard] the other day,’ Scholes instructed DAZN. ‘I’m certain he won’t mind be saying – that dressing room is a catastrophe.’

Interim boss Ralf Rangnick was quizzed on the feedback post-match, telling reporters: ‘I don’t know, you need to ask Jesse Lingard.

‘Obviously, after games like at present, there may be huge disappointment within the locker room. That is, for me, normal.

‘I feel the entire group get on moderately with one another, I’m not daring to say get on well, however I don’t see there is a matter with the environment within the locker room.’
